After 20 years in the design industry as a practicing architect and interior designer, Singapore-based Australian Fleur Kakasi turned her attention to her art practice, working on commissioned pieces, product development and digital graphics work for international clients.

Her long-time passion for textiles, fashion and dressmaking led Fleur to launch Lido Luna in 2024.  The brand marries Fleur’s passions - hand painted and textural textile design, travels far and wide, and artistic expression through fashion.  Fleur’s hand-painted designs feature on all Lido Luna garments, from prints, to embroidery, to applique and beading.

Fleur's own label, FLEUR KAKASI ART, focuses on art home textiles, marrying colour, layered texture and beautiful design in textiles offering short-run textiles that spark nostalgia, energy, and whimsy.
